Join Shrewsbury Food Hub for its annual Walk Against Waste in Shrewsbury on Sunday 23 April.

This years event coincides with World Earth Day. A great opportunity to raise awareness of how reducing food waste has a positive impact on the environment. The event will also raise funds to help the Food Hub continue to rescue surplus food for social and environmental good.

The walk will follow the loop of the River Severn and take in six of the iconic bridges that are gateways into the town including the English and Welsh bridges. The walk is a relaxed and scenic challenge that everyone can get involved in. Do it alone, in a group or link up with others on the day. The route, which will take about 1.5 hours to walk, is buggy and wheelchair friendly.
