We're hiring! Could you be our new Administrator?
Do you want to make a real difference for the environment and your community?
The Shrewsbury Food Hub is an environmental charity that started its fight against food waste in 2016. Our small army of volunteers power the redistribution of surplus food to our 50 plus partner groups and the wider community ensuring we get our rescued food into bellies and not bins!
We are currently looking for an Administrator to join our amazing team here at the food hub in Shrewsbury, working between our offices and depot in Battlefield.
Are you eagle-eyed with great attention to detail? Interested in capturing data and measuring our impact? Are you experienced in maintaining systems and supporting an operational team with a diverse range of administration and service tasks? Then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for someone with a real hands-on approach, able to work effectively in a small team and at times to tight deadlines but can keep a cool head, come up with solutions and do it all with a positive outlook!
You must be experienced in using Salesforce or have proven experience in managing a similar CRM system. We would be looking for someone who can hit the ground running in terms of systems and administration experience! We will of course be offering you a full and immersive induction on the charity, what we do and all our other processes here at the Food Hub!
You will be an integral part of a small, vibrant team, working collaboratively with the Food Hub Manager, operations team, and volunteers to ensure that our systems and data are maintained and up to date whilst providing administration support throughout the business.
The charity is in a period of growth, so we are looking for someone who is happy to come on board in a particularly busy time, be innovative and forward thinking and contribute positively to our onward journey.
This role is offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 Hours per week with a competitive salary of £23,230. We also offer 23 days holiday per annum plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays. (Salary and holidays pro-rata until 31st March 2023)
Due to our funding arrangements, this role is offered initially on a fixed-term contract to 31 March 2023.
Please email your CV and a covering letter to email@example.com.
The deadline for applications is Monday 25th July 2022.
